Delicious. A fine dining restaurant with great service. Did the tasting menu with wine pairing. pretty generous with the wine too. Food was delicious. bartender made a cocktail tailored to my taste.

This was the first time we visited this place and it was absolutely amazing. We had the best experience here. We went for long tasting menu and the staff or chef would explain all the ingredients for every dish. All the dishes are beautiful presented and everything looks meticulously put together. My partner normally doesn’t eat raw fish, but this time he tried salmon sashimi with seaweed and soy sauce and he absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
Always wanted to go to Heaneys, and the 35 5 course set lunch menu deal gave us the opportunity (deal was even available on a Saturday). Fair to say it did not disappoint. Absolutely sublime from start to finish and an incredible culinary masterclass. Potato terrine and ox cheek were particular highlights but all of it was 10/10. If you get the chance to go, don’t think twice - it takes the dining experience to another level
Heaneys is by far is our favourite restaurant in Cardiff. It never fails to impress and wow us! Every dish is a delightful surprise, a piece of art and an experience in its own right. Staff are lovely, welcoming and very friendly and whenever our party asks for some dietary adjustments, the chef is always happy to accommodate. The restaurant offers a variety of eating options, an affordable set menu, a taster menu and a an A La Carte menu, so plenty to choose from. Till our next visit, keep the culinary creations coming please : )
My girl and I had a tremendous birthday lunch comprising the Short Taster 7/8 course menu - we couldn't do the wine pairing as we were driving (cue violins). Each course was a delight - small plates as per a taster menu, each was packed full of flavour, impeccably cooked and an exciting experience. It's difficult to pick favourites so I won't - it was all fantastic. I thought the lamb dish needed more beetroot. The service was faultless, as is the decor. I'd prefer jazz on the playlist, but that's just a personal preference. Worth every penny.
Absolutely stunning as per. Each course was to die for. The menu changes each month but every time I come here I cannot wait for the chilli and cucumber oysters, they knock my socks off. You can always guarantee warm and friendly staff with a great atmosphere too.
Went for the lunch taster menu, absolutely fantastic. Food was amazing g and we had very attentive service especially from Owen . Looking forward to our next visit
